Facilities Management

As an organisation, BES are keen to keep community spaces open for public use, either in partnership with other organisations or with sole management responsibility.  An objective of our organisation is to, where possible, develop and manage community facilities, ensuring they are sustainable in order to support the development of community services.

We currently operate two Staffordshire libraries; Clayton and Silverdale. Libraries have always been great places to visit, they’re free, safe and impartial spaces, where everyone is welcome and a vital part of the local community. As part of Staffordshire County Council’s Community Managed Library scheme, BES with the support of its network of library volunteers has enabled the libraries to continue to operate as community hub’s in their respective communities.
